100% Pure Tung Oil by Rusty Design

You are getting small batch fresh bottled pure tung oil in Canada. Our Tung Oil is 100% pure, natural, made from cold pressed seeds of Tung tree. Zero VOC’s and food safe for food contact.

Tung Oil is hard drying oil, penetrates deep into wood fibers, pop up the beauty of wood grain, create a rich matte finish. It protects wood from acid, water and grease.

APPLICATION

• Great for flooring, furniture, deck, siding, concrete, stone, metal, interiors or exteriors.
• Apply by rags till saturated, wipe off extra after 30 minutes. Wait 24 hours to apply another coat. Typically 2-4 coats will deliver good results.
• Mix Tung Oil with citrus solvent or mineral spirit for better penetrating and faster drying.
• NOT use over oil based stain.
• Remain above freezing during and after application for 2 weeks.
• 32 oz covers 100 sq. feet per coat. 1 gallon covers 400 sq. feet per coat.

CAUTION
Product can cause spontaneous combustion. Used rags need to be hand washed with detergent or hang dried 24 hrs before dispose.

STORAGE
Tightly sealed, store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight & flame.

FIRST AID

• IF SWALLOWED Immediately call your nearest poison control center, physician or hospital for instructions.
• IN CASE OF EYE CONTACT Remove any contact lenses and flush eyes with water for 15 minutes. If irritation continues, seek medical attention.
• IN CASE OF SKIN CONTACT Wash affected area with soap and water, if irritation continues, seek medical attention.
