P-TEC 8400™ Black is a high-performance, 100% solid, thixotropic polyurethane repair paste designed for wood repair and restoration. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, it provides excellent adhesion, weather resistance, and fast curing properties.

P-TEC 8400™ is designed for:

• Repairing cracks, voids, and defects in wood surfaces
• Adhesive bonding of substrates such as polyurethane boards, wood, ceramic, concrete, metal, and fiberglass
• Interior and exterior wood restoration projects

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface is clean, free of dust, grease, and contaminants. Proper preparation is essential for optimal adhesion and performance.

Mixing Instructions

• Mix Part A and Part B in a 1:1 volume ratio
• Stir thoroughly to ensure even distribution
• Apply immediately after mixing, with a pot life of 18 minutes at 22°C

Application and Curing

• Apply P-TEC 8400™ with a spatula or suitable tool
• Allow complete curing before sanding or additional finishing
• Sanding time varies with ambient temperature and thickness applied

Thermal and Dimensional Stability

P-TEC 8400™ offers excellent thermal and dimensional stability, ensuring long-lasting performance without shrinkage.

Finishing

Once fully cured, P-TEC 8400™ can be stained, painted, drilled, carved, or planed to achieve the desired finish. Test for compatibility with primers and coatings before full application.
